A family-run gas and heating firm, not a national call centre
Instantheat LTD has been fitting boilers, heating systems and bathrooms across Greater Manchester since 2006. We work from two bases — Whitefield in the north and Romiley in the south east — which between them put an engineer within a short drive of most of the region. When you call, you speak to the people who will actually turn up and do the work.
Every gas job we carry out is done and certified by a Gas Safe registered engineer under registration 201600, which you can check yourself on the Gas Safe Register. That matters more than it sounds: gas work carried out by anyone unregistered is illegal, invalidates your home insurance, and is genuinely dangerous. It is worth asking any trade you contact for their number, not just us.
We quote fixed and upfront after seeing the job, not over the phone off a photo. If something turns out to be more involved than it first looked, we tell you before we start rather than after. That approach is why most of our work still comes from people we have worked for before, or from someone they have passed our number on to.

Everything is tested before we call it done, gas work is certified, and you get your paperwork and warranty details along with a walkthrough of the controls.

From our Whitefield and Romiley bases we cover roughly a fifteen mile radius, with no travel surcharge anywhere inside it. That includes Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Bury, Bolton, Middleton, Sale, Altrincham, Hyde and Denton, along with the towns and villages between them.
