Plumbing and heating in Sale
We cover the full M33 area from our Whitefield base, including Sale town centre, Sale Moor, Brooklands, Ashton on Mersey and the neighbouring Northern Moor and Timperley areas.
Sale's housing is dominated by 1930s semi-detached property, and after ninety-odd years most of these are on their second or third heating system. The pattern we see repeatedly is a modern boiler bolted onto original pipework that was never cleaned out, which means the new unit spends its life circulating debris from the old system. Fitting a magnetic filter and flushing properly at installation adds very little to the cost and makes a real difference to how long the boiler lasts.
Around Sale town centre and Ashton on Mersey there are larger Edwardian and Victorian villas with more demanding requirements — more bathrooms, longer pipe runs and higher heat loss. Those generally need a different approach to a standard semi, and we'd size the system accordingly rather than fitting the same boiler we'd put in a three-bed.

Common questions
Do you cover the whole M33 area?
Yes — Sale town centre, Sale Moor, Brooklands, Ashton on Mersey, and the bordering Northern Moor and Timperley areas.
Should I flush my system when fitting a new boiler?
In an older Sale property, almost always. Most 1930s semis here still have their original pipework, and debris from that will circulate straight into a new boiler. A power flush plus a magnetic filter protects the new unit and is a small addition to the overall cost. Most manufacturer warranties also require it.
Is Sale too far for you to cover?
No. Sale is about nine miles from our Whitefield base and well inside our fifteen mile coverage area, with no travel surcharge.
