Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026. This explains what personal data Instantheat LTD collects through this website, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Instantheat LTD (company number 05706217), Parkgates, Bury New Road, Prestwich, Manchester, M25 0JW, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us at info@instantheatltd.co.uk with any privacy questions.
What we collect
When you submit our quote or offer forms, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, and any message or job details you enter.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and arrange or carry out the work you've asked about. We only collect and store this data with your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box on our forms. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.
Who we share it with
We use the following third-party services to operate this website and respond to enquiries. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function on our behalf:
- Netlify — hosts this website and processes form submissions
- HubSpot — our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where enquiry details are stored so we can follow up
- Elastic Email — sends the automatic confirmation email you receive after submitting a form
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn't go on to become a job with us, we keep your details for 12 months from your last contact with us, then delete them. If we carry out work for you, records relating to that job are kept for 6 years in line with UK accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses essential cookies needed to run the site, which don't require consent. With your consent — given via the cookie banner shown when you first visit — we also use:
- Google Analytics — to understand how visitors use this site
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising
These only load if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you choose "Reject non-essential" instead, neither will run, and the site works exactly the same way. You can update your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we've handled your data incorrectly. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@instantheatltd.co.uk.
